Why it exists
Your team runs the sites. Your clients can see that it is done.
Sharing one login makes it harder to tell which teammate connected an app or started a run. Separate sign-ins give each person a recorded identity.
A Cloud workspace gives each person their own sign-in and a role. Admins run the workspace with you; members look after the sites, their updates, backups and safety policies, and connect their own AI apps. Removing someone revokes everything that person connected, in one step.
Clients get a view of their own sites only: whether each one is up, what is waiting to be updated, and when it was last backed up. It answers the question clients actually ask, is my site looked after, without a WordPress login and without a button that could change anything.
How it works
Team and clients in 3 steps
Invite by email
Enter an address and pick a role: admin, member or client. For a client, tick the sites they may see.
They accept
The invite goes to that address and must be accepted with it, within 7 days. A forwarded link does not work for anyone else.
Everyone sees their part
Members see every site in the workspace. Clients see only theirs, and nothing they could change.

What keeps it safe, and where it stops

- Clients are read-only: no updates, backups, bulk runs, tokens, policies or licences
- An invite only works for the email address it was sent to, once that address is confirmed
- Only the owner can add or remove admins, and licences always stay with the owner
- Removing someone revokes their AI connections and personal access tokens for the workspace
What it does not do
- Without Pro, and on Single Site, a workspace has 1 seat, so there is no room for anyone besides the owner
- Clients see status, pending updates and last backup, and not the SEO report or safety policies
- Open admin and member invites count as seats until they are accepted, withdrawn or expire; from 10 Sites up, client invites do not

Can I give clients access to their WordPress sites' status without a WordPress login?
Yes, from the 10 Sites plan. Invite the client by email and pick their sites. They sign in to GoBuildWP Cloud and see each site's status, pending updates and last backup, read-only.
Do clients count towards my seats?
Not from the 10 Sites plan up. Admins and members do, and so do open admin and member invites until they are accepted, withdrawn or expire.
How many people can I add?
It depends on the Pro plan, owner included: 1 on Single Site, 3 on 10 Sites, 10 on 100 Sites, unlimited on Unlimited Sites. Without Pro the owner is the only seat.
What happens when someone leaves the team?
Remove them from the workspace and their AI connections and personal access tokens for it are revoked at once. They keep their own Cloud account and workspace.
