GoBuildWP

91 integrations in 14 categories: 89 in Pro, 2 in Free

WordPress MCP integrations for the plugins you already run.

GoBuildWP gives your AI client typed tools for page builders, WooCommerce, forms, SEO suites, custom fields, themes, translation and caching. Each module speaks its plugin's own data model, so the agent edits the real structure instead of pasting HTML.

Why plugin-aware modules

  • Reads the plugin's own model

Builder element trees, WooCommerce variations, form notifications. Native writes are intended to remain editable; inspect the actual result in the installed editor and browser.

  • Loads only when present

Modules use dependency gates and guarded registration. Inspect integration health; these guards do not prevent arbitrary plugin failures or site-wide outages.

  • Same policy on every call

WordPress capabilities, the safety profile and per-ability rules govern calls across modules. Destructive and critical calls require confirmation under the installed approval policy.

Page builders10

Inspect structured page content, work with builder-native elements, and keep edits inside the data model the builder expects.

Compare page builders

Blocks and site design4

Discover blocks, inspect schemas, and coordinate Gutenberg or full-site-editing workflows without flattening content into generic HTML.

Compare blocks and site design

Themes9

Work with theme settings, templates, palettes, typography, hooks, headers, footers, and layout controls exposed by the installed theme.

Compare themes

Forms8

Create and inspect forms, fields, confirmations, notifications, entries, and plugin-specific form settings through typed workflows.

Compare forms

SEO suites7

Read supported suite settings and update supported post or term metadata, structured data and redirects. Available fields and recovery vary by plugin and edition.

Compare seo suites

Custom data7

Model fields, post types, taxonomies, relationships, options, and structured records while respecting each plugin's schema.

Compare custom data

Commerce2

Operate on the store catalog and commerce records through WooCommerce-aware tools instead of generic post edits.

Compare commerce

Coordinate events, membership access, course enrollment, and community groups through purpose-built plugin workflows.

Compare site operations

Inspect and manage specialized development surfaces with explicit safety boundaries and staging-first workflows.

Compare developer tools

Localization3

Coordinate languages, translated URLs, exclusions, switcher settings, and translation state from one controlled connection.

Compare localization

Caching and page speed26

Inspect the supported cache, asset, object-cache and image-optimization layers already installed, run one-setting experiments, purge and warm caches, measure delivery, and verify the rendered page.

Compare caching and page speed

Backups4

Read supported backup status and history. Pro can start backups with supported providers; Duplicator is read-only. A configured Pro freshness gate can refuse affected risky calls until its backup requirements are met.

Compare backups

Security plugins2

Read supported security-plugin status, review a hardening plan and confirm selected controls. Supported settings may have recovery paths; scan triggers are irreversible and privacy masking is bounded.

Compare security plugins

WordPress platform3

Give agents typed access to core WordPress content and reusable context without handing them an unbounded admin session.

Compare wordpress platform

The 26 cache driver/product registrations share 25 canonical detail guides; Swift Lite and Pro share one. Security setting restoration is separate from non-restorable scan starts. Product names and marks identify their owners and do not imply endorsement. Ability counts come from the GoBuildWP reference; the live registry on your site is the final word.

FAQ

Coverage, dependencies and what is guaranteed

Setting up a builder? Start with the Elementor, Bricks or WooCommerce guide.

What is a WordPress MCP integration?

It is a GoBuildWP module that exposes one plugin's own data model to an AI client as typed MCP abilities: an Elementor element tree, a WooCommerce product with its variations, a form with its notifications. The agent reads and writes through the plugin's structures instead of guessing at raw post content or REST endpoints.

Do I need every companion plugin installed?

No. Pro modules use dependency gates and guarded registration. That isolates known registration failures; it is not immunity from arbitrary WordPress, plugin or dependency failures.

Why do the builders expose different numbers of abilities?

Because the builders differ. The current reference lists Elementor 70 (18 Free + 52 Pro), Bricks 49 Pro, Breakdance 33 Pro, Divi 47 Pro, Oxygen 37 Pro, Beaver Builder 21 Pro, WPBakery 18 Pro, Flatsome 11 Pro, Etch 60 Pro, Mosaic 41 Pro. A module targets the builder's native document model, with installed native-editor and browser validation still required. The catalogue has 91 entries and 90 canonical detail guides because Swift Performance and Lite share a guide.

Are integrations part of GoBuildWP Free?

Free includes WordPress operations, Gutenberg, Skills and basic Elementor editing, along with the MCP connection and safety controls. It also covers the basics for WooCommerce, seven SEO plugins, four form plugins, four backup plugins (UpdraftPlus, Duplicator, BackWPup, and All-in-One WP Migration from GoBuildWP Free 1.18.1) and two security plugins: reads, one product's name, prices and stock, one post's SEO title, description and robots, and entries with contact details withheld. Pro adds the full plugin and theme modules and additional Elementor authoring, and its fuller copies answer in place of those basics. Pro requires Free and Freemius premium-code eligibility.

Does an integration listed here guarantee it will work on my site?

No. Availability also depends on the plugin version, live integration health, WordPress permissions, which abilities you have enabled, the active safety profile, and the exact schema registered on that site. A failing module reports its own condition through integration health without disabling the others.
