Design Studio ability reference
Reference for the GoBuildWP Pro 1.12.4 source. Installed schemas and policy remain authoritative.
This Design Studio ability reference lists every call GoBuildWP Pro registers for Elementor design tokens, layout ranking and read-only page critiques, with the exact slug an agent sends and what the plugin's own contract says it does. All 7 only read, so nothing here changes the site.
Read-only, write and destructive groups describe the source annotations. They do not establish a minimum safety profile, human approval or undo support. Those controls are separate: check the installed ability, the connected user and the active site policy before calling it. A read can still return sensitive data. These pages are not evidence that every operation passed an end-to-end runtime test.
What Design Studio needs before these load
These 7 abilities come with GoBuildWP Pro 1.12.4. Pro registration requires the Freemius SDK to permit premium code and any companion dependency the module checks to be available. The module declares no version floor of its own; dependency and permission checks still apply. wppilot/integration-health and the module's setup call describe the installed availability.
Design Studio reads
| Ability | What it does |
|---|---|
wppilot/critique-pageCritique Built Page | Reads the element tree of a page built with Elementor and reports the design failures that are visible in its structure: hero overload and a hero pushed below the first screen, a centred mega-hero, three identical cards, eyebrow labels on every section, zigzag runs and repeated section layouts; rows that never stack, fixed widths, absolute offsets, oversized type and padding with no mobile value; text that cannot be read against its own background or sits on a photo with no overlay; leftover demo content (Lorem ipsum, Elementor default text, placeholder images, buttons linking nowhere, images without alt); and the heading outline, the type and colour budget, and spacing or radius values off the design's scale. Each finding names the element and the fix. Run it after every page or template you build, fix what it reports, run it again, then confirm in a browser with wppilot/verify-rendered-page and a capture at 390px and 1440px. Reads only; changes nothing. |
wppilot/generate-design-proGenerate Design | Turn your design decisions into a verified token set and a DESIGN.md. You decide: palette, faces, scale ratio, body size, type details, phone type scale, spacing scale, corner radii, container width, section padding, compositions, component treatments and the Don't list. Every value you supply is used verbatim, with one exception: a colour that fails 4.5:1 as text (ink and muted on the ground; ink or ground on the accent and secondary) has its lightness moved to the nearest passing value, and each such repair is returned in "repairs" with the original, the repaired value, both ratios and the reason. A type pairing gets a verdict from the pairing rule; it is reported, never swapped. Anything you leave open comes back in "decisions" with two or three candidates and the reason each would fit, and no DESIGN.md is written until the blocking ones are answered. Call again with the values you chose. Set fill_gaps to "derive" only if you want open values derived from the site address and design name instead; every derived value is then listed in "derived". Nothing is saved: review the DESIGN.md, then save with wppilot/save-design. |
wppilot/get-design-review-contractGet Browser Design Review Contract | Read-only review contract for any saved WordPress/builder page. Detects saved ownership, returns a saved-state fingerprint, browser target mapping and screenshot requirements. Elementor uses native IDs; other builders use browser locators that must be mapped back through native readers before editing. The client supplies its own browser. |
wppilot/plan-creative-designPlan a Freeform Page Design | Returns an unrestricted creative workflow for the requested builder and its actually registered MCP surfaces. Does not select a template, write content or certify taste. Build native editable elements/blocks, inspect the real browser and revise. Missing builder tools must be reported; never substitute an HTML page. |
wppilot/rank-layout-grammarsList Layout Grammars | The compositions a section can be built from, each with its responsive behaviour and the section purposes it suits. Generated pages share one shape - a vertical stack of full-width bands, each a centred heading over equal columns - because a stack of flex containers is the easiest thing to express. These are the alternatives: an asymmetric split, a panel overlapping the section boundary, content bleeding past one edge, absolutely-placed layers, a sticky index beside a scrolling detail. With section_index or section_purpose it returns up to three ranked candidates for that section, each with the reasons behind its rank (what the section is for, the variance dial of the design, feature and rest rhythm, and the grammars already used in previous). It never answers with a single forced grammar: you choose one and state why. |
wppilot/review-rendered-designReview Browser Design Evidence | Read-only review of fresh, client-submitted real-browser measurements and screenshot observations. Returns element-level fixes and the next capture/review step. Rejects stale saved-state fingerprints. Neither certifies premium taste nor changes/publishes content. Screenshot provenance and observations remain caller assertions. |
wppilot/review-site-designReview Site Design | Read-only completion review of 1–20 native Elementor pages against one design. Runs the saved-tree critic for each page and reports differences in explicitly saved font families. Does not grade browser rendering, resolve inherited fonts, or complete/publish any task. |
